All about the all you can eat catfish special on Friday. The ribs are ok, but not the best I have found in the area. The giant onion ring cake was unique and daunting, but delicious.

This place has not changed in 20 years...that is not a compliment. I am from North Carolina and eat lots of good BBQ. Their ribs and sliced pork was some of the worst. Ribs are likely more boiled than grilled. They fall of the bone but no smoke flavor without the heavy sauce. Slice pork was chewy and not good either. They get an extra star because they did make a good burger for other people in my group. Give up the BBQ and become a burger joint. Service was bad also. The girl was serving many tables and helping a private party. Only reason we went is because Draft House across street had 1 hour wait.

For about a year I've been saying I would create a yelp account to leave reviews positive or negative. This place was the final straw. The place was slightly busy a good sign. Walking in I should've known; it looked like a Chinese buffet on one side and a bar on the other. I asked to try a couple ribs with my girlfriend to see if we wanted to get the full rack. They said that they couldn't accommodate that. We said fine we'll order the rack and a half with mashed potatoes and something else, can't remember. The sides were very small and cold. You could fit them into the palm of your hand. The ribs were horrible. I've been all over the U.S. and have had great ribs. OKC and Memphis had the best ribs I've ever had. These ribs here were small, tough, flavorless and the "famous BBQ sauce" was awful. Never go here.

Obviously, the 5 star reviews are either employees or friends of employees. The owner should peek in once in a while and sample his product. I had the ribs and crab cake combo last and it wasn't edible. The ribs tasted like they had been pre made and sitting in the walk in for who knows how long. Not even a remote taste of smoky goodness. If our server had brought some sauce with it, I don't even think it would of helped that 1/4 rack. As for the crab cakes, was a couple of frozen fast food pucks. Neither was remotely warm. I remember when the parking lot was full any night of the week. Not anymore, and I can see why. Well, enjoy that plate of food I left and please use my $28.00 check money to improve your standards. I won't be back. That was your second chance.

I'm sad to say, that after 25 years of loyalty, I think we're crossing Norris's off our list. The past 3-4 visits were medicore at best. I always get the chicken and baby back rib combo. Obviously the prices have increased, but so has the quality and portions. The chicken leg was more like a pigeon leg, and it was dry and tough. How do you make a dry thigh??? The sauce isn't as good as it used to be, thankfully the coleslaw was delicious as usualy, as well as their baked sweetpotatoes. I would love to know how they're made!! Lemons for our water were rotten, so was half of my potato, which was replaced. Very disappointing... this was always a consistently good place to eat, not any more.

Ugh where do you begin? 6pm Sunday and barely any patrons is a sign alone. We were on a bbq kick today and decided to give these "famous" ribs a shot. A red flag should have been the empty dinning room and full bar. But if that wasn't enough the menu included spaghetti and imitation crab. The atmosphere was stale. Uninviting. You had to search the menu for the ribs portion which doesn't have a section of its own. We had a 1/4 chicken with half an slab of ribs with a side of Cole slaw and baked beans for $14. The chicken was flavor less and chincy. The ribs were decent but made in the oven and tossed on the bbq to get the char finish and perhaps some smokey flavor? Everything had this awful "tangy" bbq sauce. It was ketchup. Calling it bbq sauce is an injustice. The beans, eeek. They just reheated some old canned beans that were so thick I could turn the bowl and it wouldn't budge. The water even tasted funny. Service was good and attentive but I pay for food. I would stay away from this place or order the ribs to go with absolutely no sauce on them. I won't ever return to this place since there are a few others in the area I'd much rather try and it was over priced for the quality.

Terrible ..... unfortunately we have been customers for years .... year round - we supported them during the slow summer months, religiously - they have lost loyal customers .... we were seated, then ignored .... tables around us were seated and served - we decided to leave and told the older, thicker waitress what happened - we got a snotty "oh...". There was ZERO attempt to make it right. We called later and spoke to the "manager" - she quickly blamed the new server and offered a $25 gift card ..... that is NOT what we wanted. We want someone there to care .... unfortunately this place has been going down hill - the staff does not care - the service is terrible - and the food has been going downhill ..... no wonder the other location closed .... we use to love this place - HELP - bring it back - call chef Ramsey !

This restaurant has a very nice menu, reasonable prices and top- notch service. On my most recent visit I had the french onion soup. It was great and not too salty as it is in many places. I had the fish fry. Pollock eas delicious. Breading was not too thick and a generous portion. My companions had the reuban sandwich and loved it and the liver and onions, also very good. Our waiter, Andrew, was very courteous, prompt and I reccommend him!

We have been coming here for over 20 years. I have to agree that if you want BBQ, other places are better. But if you just want a good meal of other items I would give it a try. I usually get the chicken and two sides. I love the sauce. My wife goes for one of the fried fish dishes.

I had the grilled salmon with crab stuff mushrooms and a house salad, it was so delicious and the waitress was very attentive. I recommend it to every one. I can't wait to come back to try the ribs.

We have family in the area so whenever we visit Norris' is a must visit. Their BBQ sauce is so good! Just had the catfish and ribs combo, the catfish was incredibly fresh, lightly battered and fried perfectly. And the ribs are consistently good. My kids tried their first frog legs and alligator tail here and loved them! If ambiance is your thing, this probably isn't going to be your favorite place, but I've never had a bad meal or bad service.

The main older.location closed. Lets see.if they can bring talent,.food, and service together to make it work. My sense is.they are on their way out ad this location isnt as good as the one that closed. I didnt much care.for it either.

Place literally smells like an old dish rag. I gave it another shot. This time old mop smell. My buddy got a salad. It came out as a side salad. He looked at it and the waitress said whats wrong with it. What, do you think it's too small? Well that's just the way it is... Then she walked off and we didn't see her again. Stay away!
